Computer-Aided Design (CAD) capabilities are essential in modern engineering design and manufacturing processes. The CAD models allow to exchange a variety of design information and are required for numerical simulations. Moreover, interactive visualizations enable designers/engineers to easily display and manipulate complex structures. We offer highly specialized knowledge and experience in computer-aided design techniques, and our CAD capabilities are listed below:

  • Geometrical simplifications, repairs and modifications, e.g. simplifications necessary for numerical analysis

These advanced capabilities are developed based on well-known CAD systems, such as SIEMENS NX and CATIA V5, and on in-house parameterisation techniques which are using Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines (NURBS) method for geometry definition.
